for Students & Their Families
Earthwise Forest School
We are a nature immersion program for children 3-8 years old. We have two classes this year; our Sprouts class for pre-K/kindergarten and our Saplings class for 6-8 year olds. Our students learn wilderness awareness, mindfulness and nature connection with handcrafts, art projects, and ancestral skills like food harvesting, fire tending, wood carving, and weaving. For our Saplings class (1st/2nd grade), core academics will be a focus for part of every day, with writing, reading, art and math lessons woven into our daily rhythm using natural materials and earth-based concepts.
Epic Program (Pregnancy Care Center)
A critical thinking program offered to all middle and high school students free of charge written by and facilitated by Pregnancy Care Center staff. The program focuses on teaching decision making skills regarding sex and relationships, encouraging abstinence. The program is secular, but can be altered for a faith-based group.
