The TEEN Group
Opportunity for TEENS ages 14+ in Grants Pass. (Conversations can happen around mature 13 year olds who are turning 14 during the term.)
Gabi Johnsen and I are launching a new group for teens: The Education Exploration Network a.k.a T.E.E.N. group as it will be known. We have desires to create community, fulfill a need, and foster meaningful friendships for our teens in a non traditional learning environment through weekly activities and experiences which will include peer instruction and collaboration with adult mentors & facilitators through hands on learning, Socratic discussion, service projects, field trips, outdoor adventures, and more!
The Sensory Place
The Sensory Space By MEC Disabilities was created in 2023 by MEC Disabilities a national nonprofit based in Grants Pass, OR. As a group of parents we wanted to create a safe and engaging indoor sensory play area for children of different abilities in our local area. So, we decided to create a FREE space in our Southern Oregon Community. Where every family is welcome, kids are free to be kids, and all the parents/families/guardians are supposed to do is spend time and have fun with the children. We offer a variety of sensory activities for children of all ages and abilities.
